Ameo, professionally known as Amz, is a Fijian tattoo artist whose work blends cultural heritage with modern tattoo artistry. Born in Fiji and originally from the village of Naracivo in Burebasaga, Rewa Province, his roots strongly influence his artistic approach, particularly through his connection to Polynesian design, symmetry, and storytelling through body art.
After migrating to Australia, Amz spent time in Brisbane before eventually establishing himself in Sydney, where he has built his reputation within the tattoo industry over the past 9 years.

Amz specialises in Geometric, Ornamental, Dotwork, Black & Grey Realism, and Polynesian Tribal — styles that allow him to combine bold structure with intricate detail and natural body flow. His work is recognised for its clean line work, balanced composition, and strong visual impact, often designed to complement the body's natural anatomy.
While these styles form the foundation of his artistic identity, Amz is also known for his versatility, comfortably working across multiple tattoo styles including Chicano, Traditional, and Fine Line. His ability to adapt and collaborate with clients allows him to transform ideas into custom pieces that are both meaningful and visually striking.
